Spots + Dots Correction

We use a device called ThermoClear along with a 1064 laser. ThermoClear uses high-frequency energy to treat the surface layer of your skin without affecting the tissue underneath. The 1064 laser targets deeper discoloration like cherry angiomas and broken capillaries. Between the two, we can treat most small skin imperfections in a single 15-minute session.

The ThermoClear Skin Treatment System only treats the top layer of the skin (epidermis), leaving the lower layers (dermis) unaffected, which can be advantageous for treating epidermal skin imperfections with less risk of damage to the skin.

ThermoClear treatments can address epidermal skin imperfections like  milia, acne, skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, fibromas, sun spots, and age spots.

ThermoClear employs a high-frequency current that generates targeted heat to treat the upper layers of the skin, addressing specific skin issues without affecting the surrounding tissue.

ThermoClear can treat a variety of skin conditions, including skin tags, sunspots, milia, spider capillaries,  fibromas, and sebaceous hyperplasia.

The 1064 laser targets and treats unwanted discoloration including cherry angiomas and broken capillaries, thus, improving the skin’s overall appearance.

There will be a quick zap and stinging sensation.

A ThermoClear or 1064 Laser session starts at 15 minutes and can be extended depending on the areas treated. 

Many skin conditions can be significantly improved with just one ThermoClear treatment, while others may require additional sessions for optimal results. Your practitioner will work with you to develop a treatment plan.

Post-treatment, the skin may be slightly red or swollen, but these effects usually subside within a few hours. Scabbing/blisters can occur and typically heals within a week.

There is minimal to no downtime required after a ThermoClear or 1064 Laser treatment. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately.

ThermoClear and 1064 is suitable for most skin types and tones, but we can advise if it’s suitable for you. Darker skin types might want to use a skincare product that suppresses excess pigment. Your practitioner can advise you about this during  your treatment.

Aftercare involves keeping the treated area clean, protected from the sun, and following any specific instructions provided by the skin care professional. Avoid picking at the treated area to prevent scarring.
