Use BOTOX or Dysport for:
Fine line and wrinkle reduction, common injection sites to reduce include the forehead, the area between the eyebrows, crows feet, and the sides of the chin and neck. Botox can also be used for a wide variety of other conditions, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), gummy smile and protruding jaw muscle caused by teeth grinding or clenching.
Treatment Details
Procedures generally take about 20 minutes. The needles used are very small and thin so pain is minimal. You will be asked to move certain facial muscles to determine the best points to inject. Injections will be made directly into the muscles at several points in the area being treated. If you are sensitive to pain we can use a topical anesthetic cream to numb the area.
Results
Initial results from Botox and Dysport can typically be seen after four to five days. Results can improve over two weeks, so it’s important to wait until then before evaluating your results. To maintain results most people will need another treatment within three to four months.
Recovery Time
Recovery side effects are minor and there’s typically no recovery time for Botox. Many people find it’s an ideal lunchtime procedure, and they can return to work or their daily routine right away. You might have some redness and a bit of swelling immediately after your injections, but it should go away within a few hours.
