Photofacials (IPL)
Photofacials improve the appearance of sun damaged and aged skin, as well as reduce spots and redness, resulting in more youthful-looking skin.
What are Photofacials and IPL treatments?
IPL (also known as Photofacials) is a treatment that uses intense pulsed light. The light penetrates the skin at a range of wavelengths that targets red and brown spots so they are great for broken capillaries, rosacea and brown freckling from sun damage.
Photofacials are commonly done on the face, neck, chest, arms, back and legs.

Treatment & Recovery Time
Heat, swelling and redness are typical for 24 hours but can last for 3 days. The darker brown pigmentation sheds as normal skin cells shed and will clear up on the face in 5 to 10 days and the body 7 to 21 days and results vary from person to person.
Typically photofacials done for redness are repeated every 3 to 6 months and 6 to 12 months for pigmentation issues.
Results can last longer with proper skin care including sunscreen.
